John McKerron

I began my journey into massage therapy in 2002 because of a strong belief in the benefits of therapeutic touch. Discomfort, muscle soreness, strain, tiredness, depression and injury can all be a barrier to enjoying a full and productive life. Fortunately, massage can do much to relax muscle strain, increase blood flow and quieten over-stimulated nerves, as well as calm overactive minds and balance our emotions.

I use a variety of techniques to treat my clients including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point release and relaxation massage. I have a Certificate in Natural Therapies and a Diploma of Remedial Massage. I continue to keep abreast of the latest research in my field through lectures, workshops, online learning platforms and conferences.

During the past 14 years working at All Natural Therapies I have been fortunate to assist clients with a wide variety of needs and ailments such as relaxation, recovery from motor vehicle accidents, work related injury, sports massage (including treating the Illawarra Hawks basketball team), rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, pregnancy massage, cancer recovery, and general aches and pains related to ageing and busy lifestyles. I treat clients of all ages, and as someone in my sixties, I have empathy for and the desire support those entering their golden years.

I have seen time and again the effectiveness of regular massage in injury prevention and recovery and in keeping people active, mobile and pain-free.
